Today I decided to challenge myself physically by going for a jog! Admittedly, I have not been doing any real strenuous exercise for quite some time, preferring to stick with walking and hiking with my dog regularly. Having lost some more weight (and inches!) I have had this light feeling that has inspired me to want to push my limits again and see what I can accomplish physically – and that’s exactly what I did this morning.
My usual morning river walk is about 3 km round trip. Here is a picture of one of my favorite spots. 🙂
I started jogging as soon as I was out the front door (which my husky, Pinto, seemed to really enjoy!), and I just kept jogging and jogging and jogging until…I was back home again!
I JOGGED THE ENTIRE ROUTE! I stopped once to let Pinto do her business, but was full speed ahead the rest of the time.
I have to say, I feel very proud of myself right now for pulling that off, but more than that, I realize that I have been underestimating my strength and endurance and I am going to correct that! Being at my lowest weight in eons, I am actually able to jog for 3 km without finding it to be too much of a challenge, and this can only mean that I am probably able to do other things now that I wasn’t able to do before as well. I wonder how hot yoga will feel next week?
Bring on the physical challenges! My body is ready!
Isagenix cleanse day 11, and I’m feeling better than ever. Soon I will measure myself again (weight and inches) and also post some pictures.
Thanks for following me on my journey!
Well, I have made it through the first 2 days of regular cleansing and another 2 days of deep cleansing on the Isagenix 30 Day Fat Loss cleanse. It is now day 5 and….
I. FEEL. AMAZING.
Like really really amazing. I have had good energy levels and feel that my body is healthy and balanced, and have that extra little bounce in my step that a good cleanse always brings. What a great time to be alive. This fall will be a beautiful and enjoyable season for me, and I’m looking forward to it!
The last 2 days when I was doing the deep cleansing days (in which you don’t eat a regular shake meal or food lunch, but take the Isagenix supplements and mineral drinks and Isagenix snacks instead) I felt very light and I wasn’t even hungry. I think there is something about REPLENISHING your body while you detox with the Isagenix program that causes less hunger pangs. Brilliant!
Here is the crazy part. Well, more like the AWESOME part.
I have lost a total of 13.5 inches off my body in 4 DAYS. I kid you not.
Pictures to come in the next couple of days. Honestly, I’ve just been lazy about taking them!
I am so happy with the results so far, and the fact that I feel even better than I look. This is a great system, and I am absolutely positive I will get to a whole new level of health from continuing with the full 30 day cleanse.
So that’s my update so far. Thanks for your support from near and far!
Just a brief check in for day 2 of my Isagenix 30-day cleanse.
I feel great this morning. I was able to wake up really early and felt energized right away – which is not always the case for me! I didn’t feel hungry at all yesterday, as I find the IsaLean shakes are actually very filling and keep hunger at bay.
So far, so good. I like the taste of the products, and the biggest and best surprise to me was the lack of sweetness in the IsaLean mix – and that’s a good thing! So many meal replacement products are LOADED with sugar, and I simply can’t stand them. The IsaLean shakes have a very low level sweetness that brings out the flavour, but nothing above and beyond that. Also, the sweetness comes from natural fruit and vegetable sugars, like beets! Amazing.
I am feeling great so far! I will check in after my 2 cleanse days on September 3 and 4. Those will inevitably be challenging, but I’ll get through them.
